A STORY...
Fatimah stared blankly at the indicator strip in her hands. Two parallel blue lines. She flipped the box back and forth in her hands as she searched for the instructions. Was she really pregnant? Fatimah’s heart began to race. She thought of the tiny life growing in her belly...

She smiled, cradling her hands as she thought about what the future held for her and her family...

Yet, despite her happiness, a single thought lingered in Fatimah’s mind:

Was she prepared?

SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY

Take a step back from the picture we just painted here. Who is Fatimah? Why does she seem so familiar?

The truth is, there is a little bit of Fatimah in all of us.

Whether you are newly married, expecting your first child or an experienced mother, we all find . same narrow path; we are busy people! Indeed, we are busy doing anything and everything but planning for the future.

So what happens when the future arrives?

We are hit with a wave of worry. But is worrying the solution? Of course not!

There is no magic solution. There is no window into the future. Your future is not guaranteed. But the real question isn’t about tomorrow; it’s about TODAY.

What are you willing to do today that will take you
closer to living the life you want...

bullet To educate yourself about fertility
bullet To planning and preparing for a baby
bullet To addressing the issues and challenges of pregnancy and birth
bullet To learning how to deal with the death of a child or a miscarriage

What is stopping you from planning to be the best sister, wife, mother (to-be) you can be... right now?

THE FUTURE IS NOT IN YOUR HANDS, BUT PLANNING FOR IT IS.

As Fatimah sits wondering what the future will be like with her baby, she could be proactively planning for the type of pregnancy she wants. You have two options:

  1. Agonize through 9 months of pregnancy, or
  2. Seize the opportunities and time available to make your dreams a reality.

I’m learning more about myself and my body. I’ve gained valuable knowledge that is of benefit to me and those I love.

UNLEASH... THE MOTHER IN ME

Like Fatimah, many of us take parenthood for granted. We assume that things will simply “fall into place” as it had for our mothers. But is this really the case? Does “leaving it in the hands of Allah” really mean doing nothing at all?

The Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa salam advised his ummah to practice the art of proactive planning: “Tie your camel, then place your trust in Allah”.

What camel is there to tie?

Whether you are actively planning to get pregnant or simply looking to better understand your body, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has commanded us to do everything we do with excellence. She who fails to plan, plans to fail!

FROM DREAM... TO REALITY

Your eyes are closed and you can’t believe the day has finally arrived. 9 months of trail and toil have finally come to an end. The baby you’ve dreamt of for so long is finally resting in your arms.

“Welcome to the world, baby. I’m your Mum”.

Harness your potential as...

bullet a mother (to-be)...
bullet a woman...
bullet a wife...
bullet and a Muslim was
